What you can expect

Enjoy a scenic cruise to the popular Green Island and spend hours exploring the beautiful coral cay with a full day cruise from Cairns departing at 11am. On board the 'Reef Rocket', you'll enjoy a comfortable 45 minute journey to Green Island from Cairns for a big day of exploring. With a total of 4hrs 30mins allocated to explore the island, you'll be given the choice of snorkelling equipment hire or a ride on the glass bottom boat to explore the reef surrounding the coral cay. For those looking to stay dry, there are also numerous walking trails and boardwalks trekking through the island to get you up close to the beautiful tropical environment it is also known for. Tours return back to Cairns by 5pm.

  • Boarding commences at 10.30am with final boarding at 10.50am from Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal and tour returns at 5pm
  • Guests will receive a text message the afternoon prior to departure with berth number and vessel as well as a link to a map directing them to the correct location
